The Ballard Farm

Four miles from downtown Alexander City, John and Julie Ballard built a barn on 120 acres of rolling hills.  The venue includes a picturesque pond, fenced pastures and dense woods.  It’s the perfect place to celebrate special occasions, such as weddings, birthday parties and family reunions.  Inside one half of the 3200 square-foot metal barn, the Ballards built six horse stalls, with plenty of storage for tack. Double barn doors at one end of the stable area lead to a fenced pasture. Doors at the other end lead to the barn’s 1600 square-foot show-stopping living quarters, where connections with family abound. The field stone fireplace houses gas logs, and the mantel provides a shelf for the large-screen television
